Formulated Blends

Newport Industries’ formulated products are produced in our facility at Liverpool Port, using ribbon blender technology to ensure a complete homogeneous mix of all components of the blends, thus ensuring consistency throughout the whole batch of product.

Our formulated blends comprise market-leading SOLVAir® S350 flue gas treatment grade bicarb and other market-proven components to produce a Multipollutant removal product. These dry formulated products are available in a range of blends to suit the application and concentration of Acidic Gases (SO2, HCl, HF) and Micropollutants (Mercury, Dioxins/Furans) within the gases that need to be treated.

The use of formulated abatement products is well known as a method of bringing successful control of gaseous emissions of more than one pollutant family with just one single, formulated product. These have a high usage in plants where convenience or plant design requires the use of a formulated product, for example, Crematorium, Clinical/Hazardous Waste Incineration and Biomass Incineration.

It may be more convenient to use a Formulated Product for one or the more of the following reasons:

Consistency of dosing in the process

One dosing system only to maintain

No manual loading of 25kg bags

Cleanliness of work environment, reduced spillages

Convenience of use

Single point of purchase for 2 or more products
